On the foundation of our mission and vision to change lives in our local and world communities through service and financial support, we embark on cultivating a dynamic membership that enhances our values to serve our community and the world by providing systematic and enduring change for the better. Our amazing team of Rotary Members and volunteers is committed to helping others. We take our passion and turn it into action.
Our club offers opportunities for our members — and those interested in making a difference — to get involved.
Through meetings, social events, and volunteer projects, our members learn about the issues facing our community and communities all over the world, partnering with local, national, and global experts to exchange ideas about potential solutions and to draw up action plans to respond.
Along with these opportunities to serve, members also are able to regularly network, resulting in lifelong friendships and business connections.
Our club is a proud part of this community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.4 million members who believe that great things happen when dedicated minds come together.
We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world.
Solving real problems takes real effort, commitment, and vision. Rotarians work to protect communities from preventable disease, keep women and children healthy, improve education and economic outcomes, create safe water and sanitation infrastructure, protect our environment and make our community and the world a more peaceful place.
Some of our current and future projects include the following:
Annual Membership Drive - As a club, we host this event annually to increase awareness about our club and what we do. A time of fun and fellowship with members and prospective members.
Back to School Haircuts for boys - During the month of September, we provide free haircuts for primary and high school-aged boys on their first day back to school.
Annual World Polio Day Fitness Challenge - During the month of October in celebration of World Polio Day, we host our annual fitness challenge, with prizes and surprises.
Beach Beautification Signs - We designed and erected signs on one of our most popular beaches on the island. This project is ongoing and we will be branching out to other beaches on the island in the future.
Donate a Tablet — In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched a project to donate tablets to the Government primary schools on the island of Grand Turk.
